Battlestar Galactica Cast: Where Are They Now?

Then: Working steadily since the mid 70's, Edward James Olmos had roles in many TV shows and movies such as: Blade Runner, Miami Vice, Selena, and The West Wing. He was also nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his role in Stand and Deliver. Never straying far from characters known for authority and inspiration, Olmos stepped into the shoes of Admiral William Adama, commander of the Battlestar Galactica.

Now: After the conclusion of BSG, Olmos switched gears from protagonist to villain in season 6 of Dexter. He's continued to have roles in TV shows like Agents of SHIELD and Mayans MC. In 2017, he reprised his role as Gaff for Blade Runner 2049.

His latest movies include: Windows on the World, in which his son Michael directed. Then he took a turn directing himself in the 2019 movie The Devil has a Name. According to IMDb, he has three more movies in the works.
