Battlestar Galactica Cast: Where Are They Now?

Then: The original Captain Apollo from the 1978 version of BSG, Richard Hatch had been a veteran of TV since the early '70's. He also wrote his own set of novels continuing off the original series. He was brought back for the updated version, this time playing Tom Zarek. Advocate, terrorist, charismatic leader, representative, ex-con, and President...Zarek was nothing if not ambitious.

Now: Hatch continued to have small roles in TV shows and movies such as The Silicon Assassin Project, Blade of Honor, and Personal Space. Unfortunately, Hatch passed away in 2017 due to pancreatic cancer. He had just finished filming his final role in the movie Diminuendo.
