Being Human Series Five: 5 Reasons To Be Excited

3. A Tighter Story Arc

Being Human 5 Being Human started off as a lean, tight six-episode series where nothing really felt like filler, before being extended to eight episodes for its following three series. Some people felt that series four, as good as it was, could easily have been pared down to six episodes without the plot arc being affected, and some of the arc plots went on for a little bit longer than they needed to, and it looks like the BBC have answered their prayers. Series five is six episodes again, which should hopefully mean that this year's arc plot will be a little more concise and to the point - and it needs to be, considering how huge this year's arc plot is. It'll be interesting to see how Being Human copes with two hours less to tell its series arc - but considering how good series one was, I think they're more than capable of handling a shorter series.
