Better Call Saul: 6 Dead Breaking Bad Characters We Want To Return
5. Hank Schrader
Hank Schrader was Walter White's DEA brother-in-law and served as Walt's ally and later arch enemy upon realisation of the true identity of 'Heisenberg'. Portrayed by Dean Norris, Hank was a generally well-liked character on Breaking Bad despite the fact he serves as protagonist Walt's nemesis toward the end of the show's run. It was Hank who inadvertently started Walt out on a life of crime when taking him for a 'ride-along' where Walt sees that his former student Jesse Pinkman was cooking meth and, needing money to pay for his cancer treatment, offers to 'cook'. The DEA agent was involved in many of the show's biggest plots, such as the shoot-out with Tuco Salamanca and later rivalry with 'The Cousins', and many were saddened when he was ultimately murdered by Uncle Jack in a dramatic shootout in 'To'hajiilee', culminating in his death in 'Ozymandias'. It was one of the show's more harrowing moments and though Norris has warned fans they "might not see much of Hank" in Better Call Saul, we'd still be thrilled to see the likable DEA man return - even if it is in the most fleeting of cameo appearances. Added to that, we also want to see his equally-likable partner 'Gomie', also killed in 'To'hajiilee', return from the grave, as the two forged a fantastic and often comedic partnership. Make it happen, Gilligan.
