8. Gus Fring Will Appear In Episode One
Uno, the first episode of season one of Better Call Saul, was paced masterfully, introducing audiences to the character of Jimmy McGill, a person far removed from Saul Goodman. Yet it remained important during the episode to affirm the show's place in the Breaking Bad universe. Uno opened with a flash forward that saw Goodman working in a Cinnabon in Omaha, looking back on his former life from the perspective of a complete nervous wreck. But the real thing that solidified Better Call Saul's relationship with Breaking Bad was the shock cameo from the villainous Tuco Salamanca at the close of the episode. It wouldn't be surprising, then, to see Gus Fring show up in the first episode of season two. It's been quite a while since the show was last on air, and it'd be the perfect way to grab viewer's attention again. Even a cameo would do, setting Fring up as a character who might potentially reappear further down the line. Besides, it's something that has been heavily rumoured for quite some time now... and rumours have to originate from somewhere, right?
