The fractious relationship between brothers Chuck and Jimmy McGill is at the real heart of the Breaking Bad prequel, Better Call Saul. As with any sibling rivalry, it’s shall we say, complicated.

In a nutshell - Chuck is the older, successful brother who has helped build a law empire based on facts and precision in the definition of justice. Incredibly proud of his accomplishments, Chuck believes in doing things the right way and carries more than a little whiff of arrogance in that it should only be practised by those who are worthy.

After living too long conniving and scheming as "Slippin' Jimmy", the younger Jimmy McGill wants to make something of himself and follow in his hero's footsteps. He believes Chuck would be proud that he was getting into the family business and he so badly craves validation that he can make something of himself in this world.

Although it's clear Chuck does love his little brother Jimmy, he also sees the flaws in his nature as being at opposite to his own values. Chuck wants the best for Jimmy but only if it was in ANYTHING ELSE that wasn’t to do with the law.

Chuck and Jimmy are very different people but they share the same love for witticism. Can you tell their quips apart?

Answers at the end.
