In truth, we were fascinated to watch Better Call Saul at the beginning to see Jimmy’s journey into darkness and cynicism and instead, we so wanted him to take a different path to an optimistic future we knew was actually impossible. Jimmy’s future is already set in stone and watching Better Call Saul is all the more tragic for it, thanks to Bob Odenkirk's sincere and multi-layered portrayal.
