Black Mirror: 10 Times It Creepily Predicted The Future

7. Smartphone Zombies

The Episode: As a parody of our increasing addiction to smartphones, White Bear depicts a world where people have become zombie-like onlookers who watch everything through their phones - no matter how horrific the events happening around them, they never look away from their screens.

Thank God society hasn't got to that point yet. Right?

How It Came True: Wrong. This summer you can't have missed the Pokemon Go craze that swept the world. Mostly this was a harmless, fun activity that millions enjoyed. Some people, however, took the addiction to a whole other level.

There were two men who obliviously walked straight off a 50ft cliff face in San Diego while playing the game. Another man crashed into a school building in Melbourne because he was on Pokemon Go while driving. One person even got stabbed by a stranger in the woods who they assumed was a fellow Pokemon Go player. What's more, instead of receiving treatment for his injuries, the guy continued playing.

Let's face it, people. The smartphone zombie apocalypse has arrived.
