The final episode of the latest series is an intriguing anthology of ideas wrapped around a deceptively simple frame narrative, leading to an entertainingly grim payoff.

Douglas Hodge and Letitia Wright make for a fine pairing, while the script, working from an original story conceived by magician Penn Jillette, is packed with demented twists and turns which build to a satisfying final "gotcha!"

Like any anthology the stories aren't created equal, but tied into one cohesive fabric, they're a wonderfully sinister mix, while a litany of Easter eggs within the museum hint at the wider context of Black Mirror's universe.

More memorable than legitimately brilliant perhaps, Black Museum nevertheless ended series four in gorgeously gnarly fashion.
