5. San Junipero Revisited
Season four's apocalyptic fifth episode Metalhead contains sneaky call-backs to series three's San Junipero, the first of which comes when Maxine Peake's protagonist sifts through a drawer containing a postcard bearing the simulated reality's branding.
Later in the episode, the company behind San Junipero - TCKR Systems - is referenced when a truck with its logo on the side speeds across the screen.
Metalhead isn't the only new episodes to show some love for the season three favourite. Black Museum also evokes it when the museum's curator Rolo Haynes refers to the practise of uploading "old people to the cloud".
