As Skyler's sister, it is perhaps no surprise that radiologic technologist Marie Schrader was an abrasive personality. A highly neurotic character, Marie's various quirks - such as an obsession with the colour purple, sporadic bouts of kleptomania, and perpetual fretting - certainly made her unique. However, they didn't exactly endear her to an audience. Marie's rather annoying traits were apparent right from the beginning of the series. She was overbearing when Walter initially received his cancer diagnosis, jumped to the conclusion that Walter White Jr. had become a pot head, and flat out denied that her kleptomania had reemerged. However, this is nothing when compared to her later behaviour, where she had but two functions: screaming and wailing or sprouting off outrageous lines, like when she tells Walter that he should kill himself.
Adam Mohrbacher has been afflicted with an obession for film since his earliest memories. In addition to his work with WhatCulture, Adam has been a contributor with Filmophilia.com, FilmMonthly.com and Examiner.com. You can also check out his personal blog here: adammohrbacher@wordpress.com.
A devoted fan of all film genres and styles, Adam gets equally giddy over the sensitive, existential musings of Ingmar Bergman, and the brawny brilliance of Arnold Schwartzenegger. He loves fish tacos and misses the work of Heath Ledger and Jack Lemmon on a daily basis.
