There's not much to like about the character of Ted Beneke. Already sort of a creep in his dealings with Skyler, Ted becomes insufferable when it is revealed that he has "cooked the books" of his business. These fraudulent actions don't just affect Beneke and his family. They also have massive implications for the Whites when Skyler gives him some of Walter's meth money to pay of the IRS. Still, maybe this man's most annoying actions came in the later seasons. In his last scenes, Beneke not only pocketed Skyler's funds (buying a new Mercedes in the process), but also attempted to escape from Saul Goodman's A-team by running away like a chicken and crashing ignominiously into a kitchen counter. These weren't exactly the behaviours of a likeable or competent man.
Adam Mohrbacher has been afflicted with an obession for film since his earliest memories. In addition to his work with WhatCulture, Adam has been a contributor with Filmophilia.com, FilmMonthly.com and Examiner.com. You can also check out his personal blog here: adammohrbacher@wordpress.com.
A devoted fan of all film genres and styles, Adam gets equally giddy over the sensitive, existential musings of Ingmar Bergman, and the brawny brilliance of Arnold Schwartzenegger. He loves fish tacos and misses the work of Heath Ledger and Jack Lemmon on a daily basis.
