After offending Juan Bolsa, however, Max is executed by cartel leader Don Eladio as Gus is held to the ground and forced to watch his friend's grisly, final moments. Later, in the season five episode 'Ozymandias', the same fate befalls Walter as he is forced to watch the death of his brother-in-law Hank at the hands of Jack and his Aryan brotherhood gang, as he is put in the exact same place as, and pulls a similar face to Gustavo.
