So that's it than, huh? After 5 seasons, 62 episodes, and countless batches of crystal meth, Breaking Bad has come to its conclusion. Sure there were some loose threads left dangling, at least a few people were left relatively unscathed, but all-in-all, the series finale came across to this viewer as a resounding success. I'm sure there were a few people that were left disappointed after the credits started to roll for one reason or another, but that's going to happen with every series. So with that in mind, let's take a look at 10 reasons the Breaking Bad series finale was so satisfying. I think it goes without saying that this article is going to be pretty spoiler heavy. If you have it on your DVR, downloaded on your computer, or are waiting for it to re-air, do yourself a favour and watch it before continuing on with list. The "next" button is coming up soon, so don't say I didn't warn you.
10. The End
I feel like I just have to get this one out of the way. So many modern series for one reason or another just don't really end and personally, nothing frustrates me more. Sometimes it is done to leave us thinking, other times it is done because the creative team want us to keep in mind that the show takes place in the real world where the lives of these people will continue after the credits roll for the last time. When I get attached to a show, I want to see a definitive end and not something that leaves me wanting because of a cliff-hanger that we are never going to get through. Felina, delivers on its title. Not only is the title an anagram for Finale, it is also a scientifically appropriate title. More specifically, it could be written as: FeLiNa, or Iron - Lithium - Sodium. Looking between the lines in the title will tell you that this show is going to leave everything behind in it's delivery. Iron is chiefly found in our blood, Lithium is a prime metal used in the creation of Meth, and our tears are rich in Sodium... What a profound ending. Blood, Meth, and Tears. For me it truly delivered on its promise, providing one of the most satisfying endings to a series in recent years.
