10. Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D
Given the success of The Avenger's in cinema's last year it is no surprise that this spin off marvel comic is hitting our screens next Friday on Channel 4. Agent Coulson has put together a small team of S.H.I.E.L.D agents to handle strange new cases that haven't been classified. There will be the usual mix of agents with the straight and narrow Agent Grant Ward, socially awkward Agent Leo Fritz and martial arts expert Agent Melinda May. The success of The Avengers was down to the film not taking itself too seriously and I think that with Joss Whedon on board it should be more of the same. Oh, and in case you were wondering, S.H.I.E.L.D stands for Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.
