3. Graphic Novels
There has been a recent surge of television shows carrying on in a graphic novel format. Buffy the Vampire Slayer did it with Season 8 and more recently Smallville's end has prompted a graphic novel follow-up. Now, I agree that these television series' were more suited to the format when you think about it. Obviously Smallville is about Superman so that's really a no-brainer, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer offered a villain-of-the-week set-up that is perfect to transport into a graphic novel. But graphic novels are a great way to tell a story in a relatively inexpensive way (at least compared to the budget of television). It depends really if there is any more story left to tell. Breaking Bad's high action, coupled with it's emotional tones and tendency for epic cliffhangers could suit a graphic novel pretty well, but it would really remain to be seen whether there is any audience for one. But I will say that I'd be totally on board for The Adventures of Jesse and Badger.
