Breaking Bad: The 7 Deadly Sins Of Walter White

3. Wrath

Perhaps the one sin that Walt commits time and time again is the deadly sin known as wrath. For the most part Walt hides his wrath pretty well. For most people he's just this down trodden, mild mannered chemistry nerd. It isn't until the very end of season 5b that the real Walter White is exposed for everyone to see but even them the extent of his anger and his vengeance are not completely evident. When Walt kills for the first time in season 1 it's not wrath that compels him but self preservation. Any of us in the same position would do the same. Even when he murders Krazy 8 it isn't really something he WANTS to do but rather HAS to do lest he himself be killed. Throughout the series though it becomes evident that Walt would rather manipulate Jesse in to doing his dirty work for him, but it isn't until he runs over the unnamed rival dealers in season 3 that we see precisely what he is capable off if crossed. Over the remaining seasons Walt's wrath comes in to play countless times although the most surprising and maddening was the moment in which he turned on former partner Mike - a turning point for many fans that changed the way we all felt about Walter White.
