Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

11. Hector Salamanca

Breaking Bad Saul Goodman Bob Odenkirk
AMC

Don Hector, the frightening, wheelchair-bound patriarch of the Salamanca Family, remains one of the most horrifying and pivotal antagonists in the Breaking Bad story.

A high ranking cartel member with a deep hatred for Gustavo Fring, Hector spends most of his screen time unable to talk due to a stroke (brilliantly explored in Better Call Saul), but making his feelings vividly known thanks to the passionate, raging performance of Mark Margolis.

With sadistic glee and unrivalled intensity, he sets in motion many of the saga's most memorable plotlines, and acts as the personification of how deadly and feared the Salamancas are. His movements may have been limited, but there are few Breaking Bad characters more intimidating.
