Breaking Bad Ending: 6 Unanswered Questions & Plot Holes

4. Why Did No One Recognise Heisenberg?

Breaking Bad Walt Diner Walt was a dead man walking, his death was just about the most predictable conclusion to Breaking Bad and when it did happen, it smacked of predictability yet still felt satisfying. 'Felina' began with Walter still alive but already a ghost, walking in and out of secured buildings, public diners and even Skyler€™s house without being detected, which had us scratching our heads. 'Granite State', the series' penultimate episode, ended with Elliott and Gretchen Schwartz being interviewed by Charlie Rose on TV, with Rose asking direct questions about Walt and his Heisenberg persona. We are to assume then that pretty much everyone in Albuquerque had heard about Walt and his secret identity, right? So how is it that he was able to flit from one location to the next, in open sight, without being spotted and arrested? The barista at the coffeehouse even spoke to Walt directly without so much as batting an eyelid. You would think that at some point, somebody would say, "hey, you're that guy off the television."
