Breaking Bad: Top 10 Most Twisted Heisenberg Moments

2. Killing Gus

gus It was the moment when Walt finally "won". Getting one over on Gustavo Fring in the final episode of Season 4 was paramount to the safety of his family and a key landmark on his twisted ego-trip. It was the shift in power that allowed Waltenberg to really expand on his empire building dream. Using Tio Salamanca's wheelchair as a makeshift bomb, Walt lures Fring into his trap, in order to unleash his furious vengeance upon the steely business man. That Walt has the audacity to make a deal with Tio Salamanca in the first place, only emphasizes the lengths he's prepared to go to, to get what he wants (explored again in the #1 most twisted moment). All this occurs as Skyler and Walt Junior sit terrified at the Schrader residence, fearing for Walt's life as he is inexplicably missing and it goes to show where the family man's priorities now lie. What started as a necessary evil in Walt's life - cooking to provide for his family - has now become the only thing in his life, and the very people he was trying to help, have been chucked to the side and left in the dark. Whilst being one of the more twisted moments in Breaking Bad's run, there is no denying that the final moments of Gustavo Fring (as he walks out of the retirement home room, fixes his tie and falls to the floor) provides one of the most iconic moments of one of the most iconic shows of recent TV history.
