Breaking Bad: Walter White's 5 Most Badass Moments

1. "Stay Out Of My Territory..." (Season 2, Episode 10)

This moment came after a short Heisenberg hiatus. He decided to stop with the meth cooking after discovering that his cancer has gone into remission and instead becomes obsessed with DIY with nothing else to focus his attention towards. At the end of the episode, he is in a DIY store when he spots a drug addict with a shopping cart filled with methamphetamine ingredients inside. At first, Walt helps the addict, giving him hints on how to better go about the process. When the addict runs away, scared, Walt laughs it off and gets in line. Whilst standing in line, the mundane life he's now a part of suddenly hits him. He quickly drops his things and goes into the parking lot. He spots the addict and his friend and simply walks up to them, stares them right in the eye in full-on Heisenberg mode and says: "Stay out of my territory." The two cooks instantly drive off. This is such a brilliant moment for two main reasons. One: it's Heisenberg, what's not to love about the persona of Heisenberg? He just walks up to two drug pushers who dare attempt to even buy the ingredients to cook meth in his territory and with nothing more than a stare and five words he makes them run off, scared. Two: it shows just how much Walt has come to depend on Heisenberg and the world of cooking meth. It has become a major part of his life and one that he enjoys. Even now that he has a lot of money, which was his sole aim in the first place, it isn't enough. Life without it has become boring, he loves it too much. The music helps too: 'DLZ' by TV On The Radio plays in the background, and the beat of it just tells you that something intense is going to happen... it certainly doesn't disappoint.
