Britney Spears To Appear on Modern Family? Twitter Says Yes, ABC Remains Silent
Britney Spears may not have the the worlds greatest acting resume, but why should that stop her from getting on one of the most popular comedies on TV right now, Modern Family.
Modern Family. The pop singer started out the push simply by posting her love for the show on Twitter, and rightfully so. At least she can appreciate good comedy. But then fans everywhere took it upon themselves to try and make sure that she actually gets on. #GetBritneyOnModernFamily is quickly gaining momentum in the Twitterverse, spurred on by thousands and thousands of fans. So far, Britney has only responded with "I'd love to be on it!" showcasing a clever eloquence that Modern Family will be sure to take advantage of. Nothing has been confirmed by ABC, according to The Hollywood Reporter, but as the campaign picks up speed they might be forced into action one way or the other. I don't know, I'm sure the writers over at Modern Family, a show that recently picked up a boatload of SAG awards, would be able to come up with a good part for her, something that is a bit reflexive, but still organic to the show. In fact, it might be downright hilarious like when Justin Timberlake was on Saturday Night Live. Alas, we may soon find out...
