Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Every Main Character RANKED
7. Rosa Diaz
The cold and intense Rosa Diaz is a hard character to read, but one thing is for sure, you do not want to get on her bad side.
Her tough, emotionless exterior has often seen her overshadowed by her more colourful co-stars, but the viewers, as well as the on-screen characters, have warmed to Rosa over the course of the series.
Relationships with the likes of Adrian Pimento helped show a different side to Rosa and she slowly let her guard down and reveal more about her personal life.
This culminated in Rosa coming out as bisexual in season 5. Stephanie Beatriz, the actress who plays Rosa, is openly bisexual in real life and likely has a big say in how this side of Rosa is portrayed on-screen.
As mentioned previously, the producers of the show address these subjects with great care and do a fantastic job of never letting Rosa’s sexuality be her defining quality. Rosa remains the tough badass that she has always been.
She rarely shows her emotions, but whenever she does, it makes for genuinely touching moments.
