Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the perfect example of a model sitcom - it makes fans laugh with its quick-witted dialogue, but at the same time deals with serious real-life problems. Each 20 minute episode has us captivated, wondering what Peralta and the rest of the precinct have in store for us next.

One friendship that fans particularly loved to watch was that between Rosa Diaz and Amy Santiago. In the beginning these two weren't really friends due to their completely different outlooks on life. Amy was an organised, incredibly ambitious, and driven detective. Rosa was scary, smart, secretive, and very difficult to read. They didn't have anything in common, they were different and incomparable so their interactions outside of work were few. While Rosa played the tough girl, Amy played the cheesy nerd, but they were both excellent detectives in their own way.
