Brooklyn Nine-Nine was a massive hit with both critics and audiences. The show boasted an eclectic cast of interesting and well-written characters, that each had a distinct collection of personality traits. As the majority of characters worked as detectives, they often demonstrated bravery and courage.
One of the main characters of the show was the harmlessly eccentric but competent detective, Jake Peralta. He didn't do anything like what the bad cops do in movies, but Jake did often found himself in very dangerous situations that required incredible fearlessness.
Terry Jeffords, Jake’s friend and colleague, was the protective father figure of the 99th precinct. Although he served at several other precincts over the years, he found the 99 to be his true home. Terry may be an extremely strong man, but he was also the most in touch with his emotions.
