In Brooklyn Nine-Nine, there are two characters who have each others' backs when the going gets tough. Jake Peralta and Charles Boyle are the best of friends.

Charles thinks Jake is the coolest in the squad and is always out to help Jake, especially when it comes to his love life. Peralta might sometimes boss Charles around, but he's there when Charles needs him the most and even makes sure that Charles doesn't go "full Boyle" when he falls madly in love.
