Given how important the Halloween Heist was to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it seemed appropriate that the show would end with a version of that competition.
As Jake prepares to leave the NYPD, and while Captain Holt and Amy were moving on to bigger things, the group decide to once again steal Captain Holt's Medal of Valour, which has been sealed in a tube.
The last two episodes of the show epitomise exactly what we all love about the heists. There's elaborate plans, surprise reveals and plenty of double crossing of supposed allies. As usual, the winner of the heist is a shock as we discover things don't always go to plan.
Though not set at Halloween, The Last Day is the perfect goodbye to our favourite detectives from Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
