Buffy The Vampire Slayer: 10 Best Characters Only In One Episode
3. Sweet
Sweet (portrayed by Hinton Battle) is surprisingly powerful for a one-off character, but then Dracula can vouch for the show's previous in this area.
Summoned via talisman by a not-uncharacteristically foolish Xander Harris, Sweet descends on Sunnydale with his wooden henchmen, a-tapping and a-bopping and surreptitiously making the Scoobies sing their hearts out.
His abilities are led by the power of song, using a manipulation of mind and person to control those within his vicinity. Primarily, he makes his victims sing and dance, but, whilst under his spell, he can also make them enact his will and spontaneously combust.
He also shows a certain flair for the manipulation of reality, including calling up background music from the ether and causing split second outfit changes. But who hasn't wished for those particular powers before?
After waiving his own rules and not taking Xander for his bride, this bluesy cat lives to dance another day, but in what dimension is anyone's guess.
"You call me and I come a-running. I turn the music on; I bring the fun in."
