Buffy The Vampire Slayer: 12 Best Cult Heroes

10. Andrew Wells

Spike Buffy
Mutant Enemy Productions

When underwhelming group of geeks The Trio became the big bads of season six you wouldn't have guessed that the most anonymous of their number, squeaky-voiced Andrew, would be one of the best things about the following season.

While he's a pain in their side in season six, Andrew grows to become a member of the gang in the show's final season, due to his utter harmlessness and his desire to make amends for his previous actions.

Sure, this may be inspired by his love of comic books and wish to be a real life supervillain who becomes a redeemed hero but at least his heart is in the right place.

Tom Lenk's quirky portrayal ensures you forget that Andrew has done some terrible things - not least murdering his best friend, Jonathan - and makes him one of the most good-natured and endearing of all Buffy characters.
