Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Progressively Harder Faith Lehane Quiz

It’s hard to tell if the tensions that Faith Lehane and Buffy Summers shared in episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer were because of their differences or similarities.

They were two sides of the same coin, Faith being the yin to Buffy’s yang. Their bond was complex and not easily defined. They disagreed about the role of what a Slayer should be but they were both equally as effective, in the end anyway, in protecting Sunnydale from evil.

They were a relationship that was never meant to be. As Faith once says; “There's only supposed to be one. Maybe that's why you and I can never get along. We're not supposed to exist together.”

But they both found each other’s differences appealing, Buffy drawn to Faith’s rebellious attitude and Faith longing for the adoration of family and friends that Buffy easily attracted. For all these reasons, Faith was perhaps the most underrated character in Buffy The Vampire Slayer because of how much she challenged our title character.
