Out of all the tv shows that have been revived in recent years, the one we probably wanted to see more than any other is another season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. We didn’t quite know how awesome we had it when Buffy and its spin-off Angel were on the small screen and if there’s one thing the 15 years or so since these shows have ended have shown us is that tv shows like this really don’t go on trees.
Buffy was a sharp, witty, utterly hilarious, fun, sometimes scary and always entertaining sci-fi action tv show that totally kicked ass. We loved watching its mythology deepen with new characters being introduced every season that made Sunnydale’s universe feel as full as the Marvel Cinematic Universe at one point.
Perhaps the best outsider character that Joss Whedon introduced was that of Faith, the alternative slayer who was the ying to Buffy’s yang, though they shared more in common than they both would willingly admit to each other.
