Kicking ass and taking names since her debut on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in season three's 'Faith, Hope and Trick', Faith managed to swing seamlessly between good and evil throughout her tenure, never quite settling on either.
Being called following the death of Kendra Young, she also holds the title of the final Slayer in the original line of succession, before Willow blew the whole thing wide open and ushered in a global Slayer free for all, which Faith then helps contain.
Finding something of an afterlife in the Buffy comic continuation of the show, Faith sought redemption and a place in the world, with more than a little help from Giles, and was even rewarded several seasons of her own series with Angel.
