Casting HBO's Green Lantern Corps

Contrary to most of the other actors on this list, Ana de Armas gained her fame by primarily playing more timid characters, a trait that would usually be a poor one for portraying a superhero. For Jessica Cruz though, or at least for her origin, this trait is quite a useful one.

This is because Cruz was originally chosen by the Power Ring of Earth-3 - a ring that sought out those who are incredibly poor at overcoming their fear, a cruel twist on the willpower based technology of the GL Corps. But with the help of Batman and Hal Jordan, she managed to break free of its influence. and become an actual Green Lantern.

After that, Cruz became a much more confident character, something that de Armas would also be able to convey as well.

Put her alongside Sheik's Baz and DC would have the beginnings of a brilliant buddy cop show.
