Celebrity Big Brother 2012: 5 Celebrities Who May Enter House Tonight

3. Julie Goodyear

The Coronation Street legend is another former soap actress tipped to enter the Big Brother House tonight. Remembered by most for her iconic portrayal of pub landlady Bet Lynch between 1970 and 1995, and often referred to as "The Queen of British Soap Opera", her character became synonymous with outlandish leopard prints and a bleached-blonde beehive hairdo on the ITV1 show. After retiring from the famous cobbles in 1995, she attempted a comeback to the street in 2002, which was short lived due to ill health. In 2005, she appeared in another ITV1 drama - Celebrity Fat Club, and shocked contestants at the final weigh in by revealing that in 1979/80 she was given a year to live, having been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She has appeared in a celebrity edition of Come Dine With Me, and is strongly tipped to enter the house tonight.
