Robin was something of an unexpected addition to the season in that he literally came out of nowhere, but the moment that he began showing affection towards Theo, he understandably won a lot of viewers over.
The pair's quickly-blossoming friendship and subsequent relationship became perhaps the show's most endearing, and it set the stage for two of the best subversive moments of the season - as both the discovery that he was a Pagan and his eventual face turn were genuinely great. And this all allowed him to stand out as one of the (if not the) best new characters of the season.
