Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina: Part 3 Review - 6 Ups & 4 Downs

4. The Musical Performances

Sabrina's unexpected launch into a musical performance in the conclusion of Part 2 was so out of left field that it caught all viewers completely off-guard, but it's for that very reason that it was such a success. The show wasn't known for having witches burst into song, so when the teenage witch did just that, it achieved the desired effect and threw us off our game - just like it did with Sabrina's Dark Lord.

We didn't know at the time that this was merely a band aid that the-powers-that-be were ripping off, but that's exactly what it was because Part 3 contains a myriad of musical performances. And, believe it or not, they all work.

Hearing Ross Lynch rock out to 'Teenage Dirtbag' and Kiernan Shipka's soothingly performed 'Purple Summer' all added a touch of flavour to this season that the previous one did not possess.

Were there too many of them? Sure, maybe we could have done without one or two, but nonetheless, they were all a joy to watch (and listen to).
