9. Wonder Woman's Saïd Taghmaoui To Play The Shadow King - Legion

The Legion panel was probably overshadowed by the reveal that its creator, Noah Hawley, was making a Doctor Doom movie for Fox. But while that is rather exciting, it shouldn't detract from what we learned about Legion's second season.

There was some talk about David Haller's absentee father, one Professor Charles Xavier, though mostly this was said in jest, with Hawley commenting: "I don’t know yet what that would be. On some level, it depends on who would do it. Is it funnier if it’s the old one or the new one?”

What we did learn, though, was that the Shadow King was getting a new face. While Aubrey Plaza's Lenny fulfilled that role last year, in Season 2 we're going to see what's being described as his true identity.

For the role, they've got a man who recently made waves in a DC movie, Wonder Woman's Saïd Taghmaoui. Based on how great he was in that movie, that's an astute bit of casting, and we will see Taghmaoui join the road trip with Lenny and Oliver Bird (Jermaine Clement).
