Doctor Who was one of the biggest panels on Comic-Con's final day, and fittingly brought some exciting teases with it. Although there was no surprise appearance from Jodie Whittaker or Chris Chibnall, with this being left to the outgoing Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat, we did get a new trailer for the Christmas Special.

It reveals that the two Doctors - 13 and 1 - go on a journey to World War 1, and a single moment frozen in time. There, they meet a member of the army known as The Captain, played by Mark Gatiss. With Gatiss in the role and that mysterious name, along with the return of the First Doctor, there's likely to be more than meets the eye.

Also of note here was that Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie) is indeed returning. After being saved in the Series 10 finale, she'll somehow find her way back to the Doctor for a proper farewell, as it was revealed Mackie is also leaving the show after the Christmas special.
