Cult classic sitcom Community ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2015. Written by Dan Harmon - the co creator of Rick and Morty - the show follows a study group at a community college as they try to work their way through and acquire degrees. Along the way, they meet all sorts of weird and wacky characters, none of which compare to the bizarre nature of the core group themselves.
Started by Jeff Winger in an attempt to seduce Britta Perry, the study group consists of Jeff, Britta, Annie, Shirley, Troy, Pierce, and Abed. As the show progresses, the core team changes a little - losing Pierce, Shirley and Troy, but gaining Hickey, Elroy, Chang and Frankie.
Abed Nadir, the robotic film student, always has something meta to say; whether he's openly discussing the potential for a seventh season, a movie, or even the structure of a story they are living. He even went as far as to try and force flashbacks to establish plot points that would later save them. It's safe to say Abed is unique.
