Abed Nadir was hilarious and fourth wall breaking throughout Community's six seasons. Being one of the very few characters to appear in every episode, Abed had a lot of storylines - some absurd and some wacky, however there were times where he would have more wholesome moments.

His relationship with his father meant that Abed had a lot going on in his life, which could explain a lot of his behaviour. With this came a lot of grounded commentary on real topics, something that writer Dan Harmon never hides away from.
