By the time Community had come to an end in 2015, it was regarded by many as a brilliant example of subversive television and one of the most meta-shows ever put forth on the airways.

The characters in the series had grown up massively before our eyes and had all fallen in and out of love on numerous occasions. However, there was one pairing that always seemed to be bubbling away in the background.

Jeff and Annie were divided by an entire generation as well as a level of maturity, though that didn't stop one lusting after the other from time to time. They had undeniable chemistry together and after Jeff's 'character obvious' romance with Britta faded away, it was still intact.

As Annie got older, her relationship with Jeff changed a lot from their first impressions of one another. She started to see him as a good and reluctantly moral person, rather than the self-absorbed idiot he once was. Where he went from seeing her as young and naïve, to a person that was driven and motivated to always do what was right, no matter the consequences.
