Community: Ranking Every Character Worst To Best

Elroy Patashnik, played by Keith David, is a little more than just Pierce 3.0. The second new character to be added in Season 6, the down on his luck inventor enrolls in Greendale after the Dean struggles with his outdated virtual reality invention.

Elroy's quirky inventor persona is a nice touch to the final season, but ultimately he arrives too late to compete with some of the best characters on the show. Elroy only appears in twelve episodes, and while he has a nice, compact arc in those episodes, his departure in the first few minutes of the finale doesn't affect much.

Maybe Elroy would rank higher if he were a member of the study group from the start, but one season in a supporting role isn't enough time to get to love him.
