2. A Famous Professor
In seasons 1 and 2, we had the excellent English comedian John Oliver play psychology professor Ian Duncan. For two episodes in season 2 we had Betty White as the Anthropology professor June Bauer. Season 3 featured Michael K. Williams (famous for his roles on The Wire and Boardwalk Empire) starring as Biology professor Marshall Kane, in addition to having John Goodman as Vice Dean Laybourne. Most recently, we got to enjoy legendary actor Malcolm McDowell as a bitter and harsh History teacher, Professor Cornwallis. Unfortunately for most of these, we only got two or three episodes with them. I hope though for the newest Professor to have multiple appearances like Ian Duncan did. Of course, that all depends on who gets cast in the role. Which brings us to another question: Who should play the newest addition to Greendale's list of professors? Someone such as Karen Gillan could be interesting, especially seeing as she has frequently cited Community as being one of her favorite shows, and loves the idea of guest starring. Or perhaps someone more suited to a comedy role would be good, such as Seth Green or even (dare I dream it?) Steve Martin. Or maybe a nerd favorite like Nathan Fillion, who reportedly films Castle almost next door to Community.
