FRIENDS Title The One Where Abed Loses Faith Quote of the Week Pierce: Has anyone seen this film were referencing. Am I the hero or the love interest? Shirley: Pulp Fiction? Yes, I saw it on a plane, its cute. Its a thirty minute film about some friends who like cheeseburgers, dancing and the bible. Outstanding Actor
Danny Pudi once again displays his acting talent by portraying Abed portraying Andre from 'My Dinner With Andre' well enough that Jeff thinks that Abed has become normal but badly enough that we know he hasn't. Pudi's wooden portrayal of Abed is undeniably one of the best things about Community as the character, despite being so unemotional is shown to be multidimensional. Nowhere is his skill more apparent than in this very episode. Why this Episode is so Good This episode is such fun, it's one of the many that are so simple on the surface yet so complex and clever when thought is given to them. Abed pretends to have decided to put his film-loving days behind him which messes up Jeff's plans to throw him a 'Pulp Fiction' party. What Jeff doesn't know is that Abed actually is throwing his own homage and involving an unwitting Jeff in his plan. You couldn't make this stuff up (although apparently cleverer people than me can). This episode stands out because of the chemistry between Jeff and Abed displayed so well through their one on one conversation. An unmissable installment
