Cory Monteith RIP: Finn's 10 Greatest Glee Songs

5. Losing My Religion

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTcTN0Z5v18 Cory€™s cover of the R.E.M€™s famous Losing My Religion is brilliant. His voice really suited the song, without completely copying the original. Like many Glee songs, Losing My Religion has a moral message aimed at teenagers who might be going through the same issues as the characters. It suggests to them that it is ok for them to change their views as they get older and see things in different ways. Finn sings the song as he returns to scepticism after a religious awakening. However, this is not the reason that the song is so great: Cory is so immersed in his performance, showing the loveable crinkled expression that he used when songs were intense. His performance of this one song really captures his story from the entire episode.
