Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 3: What Does The Ending Really Mean?

1. Lex Luthor Is The Seventh Paragon

Crisis On Infinite Earths
The CW

In a genuinely jaw-dropping ending, the seven surviving Paragons (The Flash, Supergirl, White Canary, J'onn J'onzz, Batwoman, Kingdom Come Superman and Ryan Choi, were all sent to the Vanishing Point by Pariah where they would be safe from any of the universe-destroying antimatter (due to the fact that it exists outside of space and time). However, Superman collapsed in pain and, upon the emergence of a red wave, his body transformed into that of Lex Luthor.

This was the result of the villain's use of the Book of Destiny, which allowed him to rewrite reality - positioning himself as one of the seven Paragons instead of his archnemesis. As a result, Lex is now one of the multiverse's seven hopes for a victory over the Anti-Monitor. But can the others trust him to do the right thing, or is the multiverse well and truly doomed?
