3. Orchestrates The 'fake' Mugging Of A Poor Old Woman
As seen previously on this list, Larry’s desire to get back with Cheryl leads him to unimaginable extremes. On this occasion in Season 6, he realises that she will never take him back without the approval of her therapist. A lightbulb then goes off in his head: if he gets someone to mug said therapist in the middle of the street, and he comes in to save the day, she will owe her life to him and thus recommend to Cheryl that they get back together.

The aim is fulfilled: the woman is toppled in downtown Los Angeles with her purse being yanked from her before Larry flies in and rescues the damsel in distress. But complications ensue when the man who he puts up to stage the mugging is picked up by police. Even more hilarious is that Larry’s plan works too well, and Cheryl’s therapist genuinely falls for him, proceeding to advise Cheryl never to see him again because she wants him all to himself.
