4. Netflix Bloat Strikes Again

Bloat is a frustratingly common issue with Netflix's Originals line-up, with so many of their shows having at least a couple of episodes too many to their order, ensuring they tend to outstay their welcome by season's end.

Cursed is unfortunately no exception, as by the end of a season comprised of ten, hour-ish episodes, it was tough to feel like the show had fully earned that expansive length.

Episodes routinely feel a bit too laboured and long for what they have to offer, and there are certainly those subplots which clearly could've been cut entirely without affecting the overall trajectory of the main narrative.

It's hardly a slog to sit through, but also painfully obvious that the season dragged on for at least an episode or two too many. Less is more, Netflix.
