The legal drama
Damages is returning to television for a fourth season next summer. The series, starring
Glenn Close and
Rose Byrne, was axed by FX earlier this year, only for the cable broadcaster DirecTV to acquire it as an exclusive for their 101 Network. DirecTV will repeat the old episodes (season 1 from 5 January, season 2 from 6 April, and season 3 from 25 May), prior to the new episodes premiering. The future of the series is also more secure, as DirectTV have ordered
two seasons.
