Danni Minogue Returning To The X-Factor

Aussie singer will reportedly replace Kelly Rowland on the panel after a series of talks with Simon Cowell and the show's producers.

Dannii Minogue could be about to make a shock return to The X-Factor, according to the Sunday Mirror. The Australian singer who previously judged ITV's popular talent show between 2007 and 2010, will reportedly replace Kelly Rowland on the panel after a series of talks with Simon Cowell and the show's producers. Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow are already confirmed as judges for the next season, with Tulisa Contostavlos also to continue in her role. Cowell is also believed to have secured Katy Perry as a guest judge for the new series. The US popstar previously acted as a guest judge on The X-Facor when Minogue was on maternity leave in 2010. The timing of Danni's impending return though is interesting as its just a fortnight since revelations from a new Cowell biography from Tow Bower claims the music mogul & Minogue had a secret affair five years ago, during Minogue's first year on the show. A source close to Cowell said;
"Simon thinks she's great. They are still friends. If it works out, then it will be fantastic for X Factor. No formal offer has yet gone out, but this is likely to happen in the next few days."
